DESK DECORATION COMPETITION AT TECHNO INFONET

An enjoyable workplace is something that every employee looks forward to. Keeping this in mind, Techno Infonet makes sure that the employees not only love their work but also the place where they are working. To make this possible, our HR plans out some interesting activities on every working Saturday. ‘Desk Decoration competition’ that’s what our HR made us do on the 2nd working Saturday.

Saturday is a fun and refreshing day at Techno Infonet. A desk decorating competition in the work premises could not have been a better way to end the week. Creativity is an important quality that defines the growth and success of the business. So, at Techno, our HR decided to find out how creative the employees were.

The competition began at 5 pm wherein the employees were given the freedom to decorate their desks which would portray their creativity. As soon as the HR gave a green signal to begin the competition, all the employees started putting their thoughts and ideas. Papers, sticky notes, decorative pieces and many such things were put to use for decorating the desk. Apart from showcasing their creativity, the employees were also supportive and generous with the materials that they had bought for decoration. They shared the materials with their team members so as make it a fair game. There were flowers being made, thoughts written on the paper, smileys being made and all sorts of paper creativity started popping up on the employee’s desk.

The time limit for the competition was 1 hour, after which the enthusiastic employees were treated with some delicious snacks. Apart from enjoying the competition, the employees also took a look at how their teammates had decorated their desks. There were 2 winners in this game. Meghal Mody, a team member of the digital marketing department came first and Priya Shah, our business development executive, came second.
