Techno Infonet aided The Talklist to boost up its Web Application performance!

The Talklist is a US-based company which helps global students to speak and improve communication skills in English. It’s a Web Application with a multilingual feature where the students can perform one to one and one to many Live Streaming Sessions with the Tutor, have public and private text chats, and for scheduling a session with the tutor use the calendar feature. The Talklist is developed in CodeIgniter technology but had some performance related issues such as loading time was very high, web page speed was very low, and moreover had a poor user experience.

Techno Infonet was highly concerned regarding the performance issues of The Talklist and so, we came up with a solution to this. We have implemented some of the AngularJS features to improve the Searching functionality of The Web Application. Drastic improvements were seen in search features like category vise searching, searching based on Google Maps, keyword search, language search, pagination, and sorting via pricing and rating. Adding more to the improvements, we were able to achieve the page speed to 92% which was 67% and page loading time decreased to 2.5s from 7.6s.
